Sheriff's Office 911 Emergency Dispatch

The Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office 911 Emergency Dispatch Center—a critical component of the Support Services Division—serves as one of the most essential functions within our organization. The center manages all 911 emergency and non-emergency calls for service in the unincorporated areas of Guadalupe County, as well as several incorporated cities within the county.

Operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, it provides seamless communication and coordination between Guadalupe County residents and a broad network of public safety partners, including Sheriff's Deputies, nine volunteer fire departments, the Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Lutheran University, Marion Police Department, Texas Parks & Wildlife Game Wardens, four Guadalupe County Justices of the Peace, four Guadalupe County Constables, the Texas Rangers, U.S. Border Patrol, U.S. Marshals, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and any other law enforcement or emergency agency operating in or traveling through the county.

Every dispatcher holds a Telecommunication Operator Certificate issued by the State of Texas and TCIC/NCIC Certification from the State of Texas. In addition, all personnel complete specialized training in Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems through the Sheriff's Office's in-house training program.

This dedicated team ensures that when residents call for help, the first voice they hear is professional, calm, and ready to connect them to the appropriate responders—often making the critical difference in emergency situations.

For more information about the Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office or to report non-emergency matters, visit our website or contact the non-emergency line at (830) 379-1224.

In emergencies, always dial 911.
